Sumanahalli’s 47 Years of Service: SAPPHIRE JUBILEE

We gathered on 2 October at the Campus of the St Joseph’s of Tarbes Sisters to celebrate our Sapphire Jubilee.  We brought together our Governing Body members, present and former staff members, our partners who supported our work and a large number of old patients who shared our life. It was a family reunion. We recognize the various interventions and initiatives that have been pivotal in our organization’s journey. Many of the participants shared their life journey, stories from the street to the comfort of their own home and they were educated and rehabilitated back to the society.  The innovative campus projects and community outreach initiatives have touched countless lives. Each intervention has been a building block in our path to success. It was a day of rejoicing.

Best NGO in Karnataka by the State Government, with the Governor presenting the award. Sr. Mary Mascarenhas also recognized with the prestigious ‘Rajyotsava Award’ from the Karnataka Government for SUMANAHALLI’s exceptional rehabilitation programs. Over 45 years, we have received numerous accolades from various organizations and civil society groups.
