Anugraha

Anugraha – For Orphans From Leprosy, HIV & Disabilities Background (40)

Anugraha children Home began in the year 2005 with a vision to provide boarding and education for the girl children of the Leprosy Rehabilitation Centre at SUMANAHALLI . It later included the children affected by HIV and disabilities, and the poor children who are orphans, semi-orphans and migrant workers children from the slums, who have no place to stay but a tent on the footpaths with no electricity, space, privacy and hygiene.

As there were no facilities for girl children in the campus, SUMANAHALLI leprosy Centre requested Montfort Fathers to start a Home for the girl children. The mission is carried forward having a holistic approach to the development of girl children.  Anugraha has the capacity for providing residential care for 40 children.
