Education – (St. Joseph’s Convent High School)
The school project of SUMANAHALLI established since 2004 has a proud history of serving and uplifting the most marginalized group of the local community for the past 19 years. The school strives to provide a high functioning and learning environment that inspires, engages and supports students to achieve their best and become active, compassionate learners.
The main objective of the school is to support the education of students who are deprived of education due to reasons such as poor socioeconomic backgrounds, parents who are affected by Leprosy, AIDS, children of single parent etc.
Since 19 years of establishment, the school strives to empower children imparting quality education leading to holistic development. The school is managed by SUMANAHALLI society and the sisters of SJT Congregation. St. Joseph’s School is headed by the Principal, Sr. Antony Selvi, and supported by a group of 18 teachers and 4 attenders.
The school had the privilege of providing education to 14,163 children and Higher education to 236 children.
