SET – Survey, Education and Treatment for leprosy care

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is a chronic infectious disease that can result in significant physical and social consequences. The National Leprosy Control Programme (NLCP) was launched in 1955, which was revised in 1983 as National Leprosy Eradication Program. SUMANAHALLI started the Survey Education and Treatment activities in1979 and we cover 52 Wards of Bangalore city now.  As part of the case, detection regular surveys are conducted, awareness is created through education and treatment are provided.
